1450-KMRY was the first AM radio station in Iowa with a new crystal-clear digital transmitter on the air!  For those with a digital receiver it means super sharp sound IN STEREO!  If you don't chose to invest in a digital receiver, you're still be able to hear us in normal monaural analog just as you always have. Digital receivers are available for your car or truck, and are now on the market for home use as well. We've said we'll have recommendations when good home units were available at an affordable price, and we can now tell you about at least one.  Check with your nearest Radio Shack store, and inquire about the ACCURIAN HD radio (that's it pictured below).  It offers AM and FM in HD and regular signals, has good reception range, and sounds great.  To hear what HD AM radio sounds like, stop by the KMRY Studios, 1957 Blairs Ferry Road NE, any weekday 8am to 5pm.  We have two different HD radios in operation - one in the lobby and one in our front office - so you can compare quality and price, size and style!
